Patient group

We have an active patient participation group at our practice.

The Riverside Practice PPG has now been running for over 20 years.

All patients registering with the Riverside Practice are invited to be part of the PPG.

We meet monthly and produce a bi-monthly newsletter (NEWSLINK). Please see our News section for latest newsletters.

Our main purpose is to support patients.

We do this in a number of ways:

  • Feeding back to the Practice issues raised by patients
  • Making suggestions to improve the patient experience of primary care.
  • Fundraising for equipment etc.
  • Patient Surveys to gain patient feedback
  • Promote health education
  • Recognising retiring/leaving staff
  • Helping at flu clinics and at other times as and when required

We meet on the last Monday of every month, (excluding Bank Holidays) at 4:30pm in the Health Education Room at the Riverside Practice.

The PPG wishes to ensure that all registered patient demographics are represented as much as possible, we would therefore love to meet anyone wishing to join the group.
