West Cambs Federation and Enhanced Access services

West Cambs Federation, which previously delivered Enhanced Access services to our patients and also employed some of our Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Nurse & Health Care Assistant roles, has ceased trading.

We are working with NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough ICB and other partners to ensure ongoing delivery of these important healthcare services for our patients, and to retain the staff who provided them where possible.

Enhanced Access appointments are additional appointments that usually take place in evenings or during weekends and were previously offered through West Cambs Federation. You will continue to be able to access these appointments in the normal way, by contacting us on 01354 661922.

Enhanced Access appointments will still be provided by a range of medical professionals, including GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, and others, depending on your need.

You may be asked to travel to a hub location other than our practice to attend your Enhanced Access appointment. The person you speak to when you arrange your appointment will let you know if you need to travel to a different location.

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
